On the evening of February 4, 2019, the passionate traveler Peter Vanev was a special guest of the NGO House. With its fascinating stories of adventure, the young adventurer with a civilian active position carried us, through fire and ice, along the exciting path of the Pacific Crest Trail (4240 km) and through the green tunnel of the Appalachian Trail (3500 km) which he had crossed on foot. It is a curious fact that the thru hiker is the first Bulgarian to pass through the both ong-distance trails.
During his presentation, the adventurer also shared intriguing details about his upcoming 5000 km, which he will hike along the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail in the spring of 2019, after which he will be crowned with the dreamy Triple Crown of Hiking referring to the three major U.S. long-distance hiking trails.
We thank all the guests and new friends of the NGO House who shared this exciting experience with us! ![]()
